Drivers Training Institute

FOAP was setup with the primary objective to implement the Trucking Policy in Pakistan. One of the key objectives of the policy is to set up driver training institute to train all the drivers which will have a long term impact of improving trucking sector in Pakistan. In this connection Motorway Police had very graciously provided 3.5 acre land at Super Highway Karachi for this project. FOAP completed construction work of the building with the help of its members’ donations and handed over it to NH&MP for undertaking drivers training. The Ground Breaking Ceremony of NH&MP – FOAP Road Safety Institute and Driving School at superhighway Karachi, was held on 16th July, 2014 chaired by Mr. Zulfiqar Ahmed Cheema PSP, TI, former Inspector General of National Highways & Motorway Police. The project has been completed and handed over to NH&MP which also started the training sessions in the premises.
